Circo’s is closing its doors in Seattle
The pastry bakery and pastry shop, which was based in the city since 1996, announced it was closing its Seattle location.
“Due to financial pressures, we have decided to close our Seattle and Tacoma locations,” the company said in a statement.
The Seattle location closed in March 2018.
Circo is the second major Seattle-based pastry bakery to close in recent years.
In April 2018, the company announced that it would close its Seattle and Portland locations.
“In the past few months, we’ve struggled to meet demand for our products and we’re disappointed to announce that Circo is closing all of its stores and operations,” the statement said.
In February 2018, Circo announced that its Portland, Oregon and Seattle locations would be closing in May.
The Portland location is the only one remaining.
The Seattle location had an array of offerings including pastries, cakes, pastries in flavors like blueberry and strawberry, and more.
At Circo, you can find cakes, croissants, pastas, pasties, pasty cakes, pastry desserts, crocheted items, cakes in chocolate, and other pastries.
